Archiving a simulation will disable learner access. It will also hide it away to the very end of the simulation list on the dashboard, only viewable to users with edit access or higher.

Archiving will not remove any reporting data associated with the Sim, and it can be freely activated again without losing anything. However, you will need to republish the Sim after reactivating.

If you wish to hide reporting data from users who have access to the Sim, remove the Sim from any sub-account link or group your users have access to. Re-adding the Sim later will re-show the reporting data.

To Archive a simulation:

  1. Edit the simulation

  2. Select Properties

  3. Under Manage your Sims, click the Archive button as seen below.

  4. Click Save

It will now show as Archived on your dashboard.

To Reactivate an Archived simulation:

Select the settings cog to open the properties menu again, and activate the simulation if you wish to use it again. You will need to publish it again before your Learners can access it.
