The SimTutor platform offers a basic set of LMS features, allowing you to get learning to your users easily. If you would rather not integrate via SCORM or LTI, then using our platform for distribution is a great option.

Here is a list of LMS-based features we support when sharing on our platform

Sharing options

  • Direct sharing

    • Share a simulation to a user's email or username from the dashboard

      • Set permissions for the user to be one or more of the following: "Viewer" "Assignor" "Reporter" "Editor"

      • Alternatively create a clickable URL that appends a simulation to users' account(s), or allows them to create a new account

      • Ability to add an email notification that automatically emails the assignor when the user completes the simulation

      • Add a custom subject/message to the sharing email.

    • Create a public URL that allows any user to access, but does not require a user login, so no reporting data is recorded.

  • Group sharing

    • Ability to set up groups to share one or more simulations with multiple people via email

      • Add new or existing users to the group

      • Alternatively, create a clickable URL that appends the group access to a user(s) account, or allows them to create a new account

      • Add a custom subject/message to the group sharing email.

    • Simulations added to the group can be shared with one or more of the following: "Viewer" "Assignor" "Reporter" "Editor"

    • Ability to add an email notification that automatically emails the assignor when a user in the group completes a simulation

User Management

  • Add users

    • Fields include: First Name, Last Name, Email Address/Username, Groups, Staff Number, Password

    • Invite users by email to the account

    • Bulk upload users via .csv

  • View users in the account, signup date, groups included, and a list of account-wide simulation permissions.

  • Edit user's details (fields listed above)

  • Remove all access from a user and hide them from your account.

Sub-Accounts

  • Create sub-accounts

    • Separates all customer data/simulation access - effectively a new account that can be managed by the main account

    • Customer logos can be uploaded per sub-account that will show on the dashboard and simulations.

    • Simulations can be linked down from the main account so that a sub-account can gain permission.
